5th WIFT-CYPRUS International Film Festival (WIFTCYIFF) 22 – 27 September 2025 Venue: Melina Mercouri Hall, Nicosia
Dear sisters and friends,
We warmly invite you to join us in celebrating the exceptional work of WIFT CYPRUS alongside filmmakers, artists, and representatives from WIFT chapters worldwide!
This festival is a dynamic celebration of art and culture, dedicated to empowering women in the film industry. We welcome short films up to 20 minutes and feature films up to 60 minutes in length, across all genres, with no restrictions on the production year. Eligible films must be produced by filmmakers or producers who are members of either WIFT Cyprus or any other WIFT chapter globally.
We especially invite films that matter, addressing human rights, the environmental crisis, social issues, and women’s empowerment. Our goal is to feature two films per screening slot—one from a local filmmaker or WIFT member and one from an international WIFT member—fostering collaboration and global connections.
