Η δημοσιογράφος Έλλη Σπυροπούλου υποδέχθηκε στην εκπομπή της στον Alpha Radio 98.9 την Πέτρα Τερζή την προεδρο του ιδρυματος WIFT Cyprus (Women in Film & Television Cyprus), σκηνοθέτρια, παραγωγό και σεναριογράφο με σημαντική διεθνή παρουσία.

Τα έργα της έχουν ταξιδέψει σε δεκάδες διεθνή φεστιβάλ, αποσπώντας περισσότερες από 40 διακρίσεις. Παράλληλα, η Πέτρα Τερζή είναι ανταποκρίτρια και μέλος του Hellenic Media Group, ενώ διατελεί Πρόεδρος του WIFT Cyprus (Women in Film & Television Cyprus), μέσα από το οποίο στηρίζει ενεργά τη γυναικεία δημιουργικότητα και την παγκόσμια κινηματογραφική κοινότητα.

Στη συνέντευξη μίλησε για τη δημιουργική της πορεία με τη διοργάνωση του Διεθνούς Φεστιβάλ Κινηματογράφου Κύπρου επί 20 συνεχόμενα έτη, τη δικοινοτική δράση «Γυναίκες της Κύπρου Δημιουργούν Περιβαλλοντικά για την Ειρήνη», καθώς και για τη θέση της γυναίκας κινηματογραφίστριας στον ανεξάρτητο κινηματογράφο.

In March 2025, the Media Committee of the Women in Film and Television – Cyprus Foundation was established, with Dimitris Kanavos and Dimitris Christodoulopoulos serving as representatives of both the committee and the foundation.

As part of its initiatives, we are pleased to announce a new collaboration with the Hellenic Media Group and the OLYMPIAD for WATER and BIO-AMBASSADORS team. The official presentation of this collaboration will take place at a conference to be organized soon by the Foundation for the Environment and Peace.

The role of the Bio-Ambassador is to act as a bridge between diplomacy and environmental management, contributing to the development of policies that protect water resources and ensure equal access to water and sanitation.

Through international collaborations, awareness campaigns, and advocacy initiatives, the Bio-Ambassador promotes sustainable practices, prevents water overexploitation, and strengthens global governance of water resources. Additionally, they support the development of institutional mechanisms that enhance transparency, accountability, and the enforcement of measures to safeguard water as a fundamental human right.

These efforts contribute to global peace and sustainable development.
